“This Is Why We’re Here — And Why We Can’t Be Silent Now”

To the MAGA crowd.
To those who stayed home in the last election.
To those who protested the Democrats but let democracy bleed.
And to the so-called Christians who turned away from the hurting—

Let me be clear: you are the reason we’re here.

 The Heart of the Message:

You are the reason Donald Trump rose to power.
You are the reason his administration and party enacted policies steeped in cruelty.
You are the reason families were ripped apart, children locked in cages,
and barbed-wire detention camps rose from dust with no food, water, or toilets.

You are the reason 17 million Americans now face losing their Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP.
You are the reason millions of children are hungry and more will die needlessly.

This is the legacy of apathy. Of complicity. Of silence disguised as strategy.

We can’t allow it anymore.

Trump and the extremists clinging to him aren’t just running a party. They’re driving a campaign of fear, repression, and erasure. They want to rewrite history, whitewash accountability, and vilify anyone who remembers how this country was truly built.

Let’s say it plain:
This land was stolen from Indigenous people and Mexico.
It was built by enslaved Africans and exploited immigrants.
We are not the original ones.
And that’s why they fear the truth in classrooms — because truth leads to transformation.

But we don’t have to build a nation on hate. We can build it on memory, growth, justice, and joy.

We can become the country that learns, that listens, that tells the truth and acts like it matters.

 Call to Action

 Vote like lives depend on it — because they do.
 Speak up when lies become law.
 Stand beside those who are targeted — not behind them.
 Support truth in education, media, and history.
 Invest in movements, not just moments — fund justice with your dollars and your voice.

Your silence will not protect you. But your action might protect all of us.

The next election isn’t just political.
It’s moral. It’s human. It’s now.
